Privacy Policy

This page explains what information this site collects, why, and what happens to it. It's written in plain language on purpose. Joshua T. and LMTLS Vision are based in Montreal, Quebec, so this policy is written to be reasonable under Canada's federal privacy law (PIPEDA) and Quebec's Law 25, but it isn't a substitute for legal advice (see the note at the bottom).

What this site collects

  • Form submissions. If you fill out the "Let's talk" form, I collect your name, email, brand/company name, what you need, budget range and message. The form also records which case study page you sent it from (for example, the Morning Blues page), so I know which video you're asking about. This is sent to me so I can reply to your inquiry.
  • Basic analytics. The site may use basic, privacy-respecting usage analytics (page views, general location by country/region, device type) to understand how the site is used. This data isn't used to build a profile of you personally.

I don't collect payment information on this site. Any payment happens separately, outside of this website.

Why I collect it

I collect this information only to respond to your inquiry, talk through the project you asked about, and understand roughly how the site is performing. I don't sell your information, and I don't use it for advertising.

Who I share it with

To run this site and its contact form, a few third-party services handle parts of this data on my behalf:

  • Netlify: hosts this site and processes form submissions.
  • Google (Gmail): a copy of each form submission is emailed to my Gmail inbox so I can reply to you.
  • Cloudinary: hosts and delivers the images and videos on this site (it does not receive your personal information).
  • jsDelivr: delivers some of the site's code libraries (it does not receive your personal information).

These services only receive what's needed to do their job. Netlify processes the form details above and Google receives them by email; Cloudinary and jsDelivr are infrastructure providers that serve static files and don't see your personal information.

How long it's kept

Form submissions, and the emails they create, are kept only as long as needed to respond to your inquiry and any project that follows, and are deleted or archived once that's done. Basic analytics data, if used, is kept in aggregate and isn't tied back to you individually.

Your rights

Under PIPEDA and Quebec's Law 25, you can ask to see what personal information I hold about you, ask me to correct it, or ask me to delete it. To do any of this, just email me at the address below. I'll respond within a reasonable time.
